Roxanne O’Brien is a chef, caterer, artist, and cheese educator. She is currently a chef/instructor in the Culinary Arts Department at American River College.
Roxanne has a passion for artisan cheese. She has worked as a cheese monger, teaches cheese education and cheese cooking classes, and hosts artisan cheese tastings and pairings. She is currently working on a cheese-related cookbook!
This native Aussie loves to breathe, make, eat, learn and teach all things cheese, and is passionate about sharing her knowledge!
Sacha fell in love with the art and science of cheesemaking during a 15 year sojourn in the Brie region of France. She studied dairy science and cheesemaking at UC Davis, Cal Poly and the Vermont Cheese Institute, and teaches cheesemaking in San Francisco and the Sacramento region and to professional cheesemakers with the California Artisan Cheese Guild.
Kent Giacomozzi is a caterer, baker, artist, and writer. A graduate of the Culinary Arts Program at American River College, Kent has also studied at the cooking school of the Oriental Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. He has also taken one-on-one classes with chefs in Puerto Rico, Spain and Venezuela. He loves to explore the science of cooking and baking and can happily spend hours in the kitchen testing various versions of recipes.
He is always looking at new ways to challenge himself in the kitchen.
